Ranking the 12 stores oregonlive.com Shouted Out
Oregonlive.com’s list of 12 Portland area thrift stores that are actually cheap is full of hidden gems! A couple that made our three best thrift stores in Portland, a few we’ve been to but haven’t been successful, and A BUNCH we just didn’t know we existed. Here are the four we’re familiar with.
cheap thrift stores you can actually find something at
William Temple House Thrift Store
Located in a very busy and cool part of Portland, this unassuming thrift store often has great clothes, houseware and furniture. It’s a local favorite to donate, so stuff is cycled through often. It’s a small store so it can be a quick browse but still worth checking out.
Red White & Blue Thrift Store
Our real favorite thrift store in Portland, isn’t in Portland at all. This cash only place is a thrifter’s paradise and well worth the trip. The best place to dig for clothes and one of our favorite places to go to dig for clothes outside of Portland.
Thrift stores we haven’t been lucky at
Value Village
We’ve been here a few times and we haven’t found anything. But we’ll keep trying. Mostly cause they’re right next to a Rite Aid that has Thrifty’s Ice Cream.
CAT Thrift
We’ve donated here more than we’ve shopped here. So hopefully someone’s found treasures in some stuff formally known as ours. This place is cute, everyone’s friendly, and it’s a great cause. You can’t go wrong.
