WHAT ABOUT US?
Picture this: You and your partner walk into your favorite secondhand store—an activity so familiar it’s practically procedural.
First, you go your separate ways, one toward the men’s section, the other toward the women’s.
Then, you start digging. As you’re holding the pieces that have piqued your interest on your left arm, a makeshift shopping cart. Your right arm sifts through the racks of clothing.
At some point, probably when your left arm is cramping, you meet in the middle of the store.
Now begins the shopping review: You pick out one of the items you’ve been holding on your left arm, hold it up to your partner, and ask, “What about this?”
